FAMILY & COMMUNITY SERVICES Caseworkers in multiple locations provide case management services, emergency food, rent and mortgage assistance, utility assistance, transportation, information and referral, outreach services including the Mecca Food Distribution Program, advocacy, family burial assistance, HIV/AIDS services, and other support services for families. COUNSELING PROGRAMS & SERVICES Counseling Programs & Services include professional individual & family counseling, parent education services, adult and teen anger management programs, family enrichment programs, life skills training for at-risk foster youth, Headstart mental health consultations, crisis de-briefing services, volunteer training, bereavement groups, and on-site school counseling at 10 schools throughout the two-county area. Counseling services are provided by licensed therapists and supervised pre-licensed therapists throughout the two-county area. IMMIGRATION PROGRAMS & SERVICES As a BIA (Board of Immigration Appeals) accredited agency, staff assists clients with application for naturalization, adjustment of status, family petition, family unity, work permit, family reunification, fiancé visa, self-petition for domestic violence victim, registry and certificate of citizenship for children. Refugee settlement services are also provided. Services are offered at multiple locations throughout the two-county area. |
